Myth
Mike Ogren is the owner of Myth nightclub and a St. Thomas Opus College of Business alum. We ran a different photo of him in the college of business B. magazine, but I’ve always had a soft spot for this shot. Myth is a fantastic place for pictures and the magazine designer and I had a hard time deciding exactly where to put Mike. We finally picked this red wall. The wall itself is lit from behind, so I needed to light Mike in a way that didn’t overpower the background exposure. A White Lightning strobe with a grid on the front to focus the light did the trick.
